In 2017, our founder began to develop a flexible solution for the acute staffing challenges faced by those engaging in the public service industry. Detrimental gaps in the common recruitment process cost organizations millions of dollars each year, which simultaneously diminishes the quality of the candidate experience leading to low retention rates. Civil United is a grassroots organization that is building an informed and effective movement working toward financial equity and social justice.
During the pandemic we've recruited over 1,000 field organizers, volunteers, and election workers. Local candidates value the flexible scheduling opportunities offered through our program. It is our belief that leadership development, volunteer recruitment, and workforce management is the only way to sustain the public service industry. Civil United is committed to educating, empowering, and mobilizing residents across the state in order to uphold our idea of true democracy.
